Running a successful marketing campaign

Running any successful marketing campaign isn't easy, basically there's no scientific formula to make people respond to your message or purchase your products. Marketing campaigns are more of an art, combined with a great sense of timing. Using the right tools at the right time, new technologies, advertising methods and strategies can help maximize exposure.

So timing is everything right?, and you're looking to captivate your customer's attention? right now mobile technology is tsunami that's taking everyones pockets. With all the things that people cut back on, mobile phone bills seem to be only increasing with the growing 'want' for smarter phones.
It seems unplugging yourself from everything the plugged in world, then plugging yourself back in after 7 days, it's astonishing just how many changes and cool new technologies that have been released in the time frame. And these are gadgets people are buying. And mobile phones are getting smarter by the week.

Here's to mobile marketing, a whole new era of broadcasting your message to your customers. Developing an 'app' for your brand, seems to be the bandwagon to jump on, but that's a route that can be expense, and with hyper evolving iOS versions, it's a constant and expensive battle to keep your app fresh and current.

The most cost effective way though, and guaranteed method for brand message delivery is text message marketing. FireText has developed a downloadable Windows software which uses your ordinary cell phone connected to a laptop to send and receive text messages to your customers. There's no per message fee, which means there's no expensive long term costs.

To make your text message marketing successful, the key is numbers and building a database of your customers. That can be a challenge in itself, with FireText's latest version of their software, with FireText's over 20 features, you can use them to entertain customers on your television screens, radio waves and print material, inform and captivate your audience while automatically building a database of phone numbers.

With the advancement of mobile phones to smart phones, FireText isn't limited to only text messages, it works with Twitter, Email, Bluetooth and MMS.

Interactive Texting Software

The past few seminars I've been to have been more interactive than last year.  Just this last week I went to one where the speaker had a projector displaying questions from the attendees.  What happened was that at the beginning of the seminar the speaker advised the group that they could text their questions to a cell phone number and the questions would be displayed on the screen.  I happened to be sitting very close to the laptop that was handling this process, and noticed the software's name was called FireText.

The speaker was able to answer many of the questions during the seminar without missing a beat.  Unfortunately, my question wasn't answered during the seminar. But, I did get an answer back via text from the speaker while I was getting into my car after the seminar.  This new interactive texting software called FireText really enhanced my experience!

Seminar Tools

I have attended many team building workshops and seminars that were conducted by different members of senior staff of my employer.  This past quarter, I was involved in the preparation aspect because my boss was the speaker for the quarter.

She told me to think out-of-the-box about how the employee workshops could be taken to a new level.  I searched on the Internet for "seminar tools" and "workshop tools" and read about what is being done with the projector to inform the attendees.   I remembered hearing from my friend that works at a local bar on the weekends that his boss just bought a texting entertainment software called FireText.  They display text messages on their screens and also can show live voting results on the screens.

So I showed my boss the FireText website and we tried the free demo and loved it!  My boss showed it to her boss and the company bought two packages since there are times where two events are going on at the same time.  I was in charge of being the administrator during the workshops my boss conducted and two seminars run by her boss.

What we do is give the audience the number of a cell phone we connect to the laptop running FireText, and tell them to text their questions, comments, voting choices, and poll answers to the phone number.  During the seminars I posted the appropriate texts to the screen to be displayed and addressed.  My boss also asked multiple choice and true/false questions about our company.  I was able to change the screen template from being text to screen right to the polling results!

Now, everyone on the senior management team has incorporated the use of FireText in their presentations to employees and our customers!  My boss received a recognition award for this whole process.  I know she understands that I am the main reason why we are using FireText.  Hey, you know what they say "You know you are doing your job well when you make your boss look good!".
